What it does

Give development
a team structure.

Lobster Agents provides a coordinated structure for AI development work. Instead of leaving responsibilities and handoffs implicit, its company template defines how specialized agents relate to one another and how a project moves forward.

Roles, reporting lines, permissions, project lifecycle, and review and approval gates help an operator direct the work. The operator remains responsible for configuration and review.

Why review matters in our approach

A workflow with
deliberate handoffs.

Conceptual workflow

  1. 01 / Direction

    Define the work.

The operator establishes the problem, scope, permissions, and expectations for review.

  2. 02 / Ownership

    Assign responsibilities.

Specialized roles and reporting lines give the work clear ownership.

  3. 03 / Coordination

    Make the handoff.

Roles pass work and context through the project lifecycle.

  4. 04 / Review

    Check before advancing.

Review and approval gates provide points to inspect work and decide the next step.

A conceptual explanation of the framework’s workflow. The actual setup, available capabilities, and review process depend on the operator’s environment and configuration.

Specialist roles

Different lenses.
A common project.

Design, engineering, QA, and operations illustrate how responsibilities can be organized. These are AI agent roles, with people directing and reviewing the work.

Design

Consider the interaction, content, and user experience.

Engineering

Translate an agreed direction into implementation work.

Quality assurance

Examine behavior and surface issues for review.

Operations

Consider the practical work of running and maintaining software.

Before you begin

Start with
the public source.

You need an existing OpenClaw environment and an operator prepared to configure agents, permissions, and review gates. Read the repository documentation and installer before making changes to your setup.

Use the public repository for setup instructions and to inspect the reusable company template. Evaluate it against your environment and project needs; configuration and review remain your responsibility.
